Hello, I'm an independent writer and researcher with a cross-disciplinary background in technology, law, and public governance. I began my career in the IT sector, later worked as a non-litigation lawyer, and gained hands-on experience within judicial and regulatory systems. I am currently based in the Greater Bay Area, focusing on research related to legal systems and social governance.
This blog explores the intersections of law, technology, institutions, and everyday life. Here, I may refer to myself as "Old T," "Lao T," or "Lawtee" instead of using my real name.

I have worked at the grassroots level of the legal and public administration system, with experience spanning judicial administration, law enforcement, prosecution-related coordination, and public security–adjacent work. These experiences shaped my practical understanding of how courts, prosecutors, judicial authorities, and regulatory agencies actually operate beyond formal theory.

Earlier in my career, I worked in the IT services and outsourcing industry, focusing on website operations, system administration, and online marketing. I continue to closely follow developments in technology and the internet, especially where they intersect with institutions, regulation, and everyday life.

I have maintained a personal blog since 2008. While there were periods of interruption, I resumed writing consistently in 2023. Unless major life changes intervene, I plan to continue using this space as a long-term record of observation, analysis, and reflection.
